A History of ADS Logistics
ADS Logistics started out as a trucking company focused on the metals industry more than 30 years ago. By listening to our customers and their issues, we developed an intermodal group (Western Intermodal) that became a cost effective alternative for over the road trucking when customers are shipping material from the east/midwest to the west coast. Shortly thereafter, we opened up our first of 5 strategically located warehouses (Roll & Hold) to help solve our customer's inventory and just-in-time delivery issues. It didn't take long after that to discover that we could add value to our customers by offering a menu of warehousing options such as: banding, export packaging, decanning, removing or adding ID rings to coils, VCI wrapping, etc.
