The National Groundwater Association will host a webinar, "Vehicle Inspections and Maintenance Requirements" on November 3rd. It will take place at 4 p.m. EST, with the objective of describing the new CSA 2010 regulations to those whose industry it affects, including truckers!
There is a reduced cost for NGWA members to tune in to the webinar, but it is open to non-members as well.
The presenter is Gary LaBrake – a nationally recognized driver training and safety expert – who will extend his deep knowledge to help listeners:
- Meet the requirements of a CSA 2010 vehicle inspection.
- Keep a roadside inspection on track and within scope.
- Act appropriately in the event of a roadside crash and how to document the incident.
- Get an improper or inaccurate write-up/citation removed from your record.
The suggested audiences who will benefit from attending this online offering include water-well contractors, business owners, manufacturers and suppliers, and of course those operating commercial motor vehicles.
During the webinar, those watching can post questions and print out related materials. No prior education is needed to participate in the webinar, so anyone who needs clarification on the CSA 2010 or topics related to it can participate and get their questions answered.
As we have written about many times here at ADS, it’s extremely important for everyone in the trucking industry to have a full-understanding of the new CSA 2010 regulations - and they will be clearly explained during the hour long session. Four out of the seven BASIC categories that are on the CSA 2010 scorecard are driver related.
The NGWA is concerned with the trucking industry because trucking is just one of the many causes of water pollution in the U.S. The new CSA 2010 maintenance regulations will hopefully reduce how much each carrier will pollute.
