I recently came back to work for ADS in a Regional Sales Manager position. In my time away, some of my mentors have left; some familiar faces remain, and some new talented folks have arrived. Our leadership team is a great cross-section of enthusiasm and experience. The positive energy here is contagious. I’m sure as a customer over the years you have found our group a combination of a solid system with top-notch people.
As many know, ADS is the parent company of 3 core groups: Area Transportation for local and regional trucking; Roll & Hold for warehousing and distribution; and Western Intermodal an intermodal service provider (pick up on truck, ship on rail, deliver on truck). We have been around for close to 40 years.

In addition to these, we continue to look at and review new offerings in the marketplace. These include (but are not limited to) a new Roll & Hold facility in Shreveport, LA; strengthening our Area truck brokerage to offer more capacity and diversification in the recent and ongoing truck shortage; and re-opening intermodal service to Denver, CO. We are also very close to opening an intermodal corridor to Houston, TX, so stay tuned for that exciting new development.
To our current customer base, thank you for your continued and ongoing business. It is rewarding to see some of same customer base now that we had 20 years ago, as well as some new ones. We need to continue to find ways to grow with you. Please continue to reach out to us for good solid transportation advice and service offerings. Finding new business with existing customers is as equally rewarding as finding someone new.
I appreciate you letting me share some personal thoughts with you. In 25 + years I have been in the flatbed transportation business, I am fortunate and blessed to have worked with some very loyal customers and for some very top-notch companies.
