Homewood, IL - ADS Logistics, LLC has announced a consolidation of their commercial organization and Integrated Solutions division, and the promotion of Gordon D. Gustafson to chief commercial officer for this Homewood, IL based metals logistics service provider.
Gustafson joined ADS Logistics in 1986 in a sales and marketing capacityand held the position of vice president and general manager of the company's modal integration division, Western Intermodal, for many years.While with Western Intermodal, he initiated development of a logistics management system, LoMaS®, to better manage the company's multi-modal business.For the last several years Gustafson has held the position of vice president for the company's Integrated Solutions division responsible for consulting, outsourcing, international project management capabilities and a suite of e-commerce tools including LoMaS®, which is now a robust supply chain management integration software suite.Gustafson will remain vice president of the Integrated Solutions division in addition to his added responsibilities as chief commercial officer.
Gustafson has comprehensive knowledge of ADS Logistics, our commercial initiatives, products, customers, the metals industry and overall issues, states Stephen Fraser, president and chief executive officer. Aligning the ADS corporate commercial direction and the Integrated Solutions division, under his direction, will allow ADS Logistics to better serve our customers. The consolidation will see the Hudson, OH sales office closing in late October, and sales and marketing initiatives for the company as a whole reporting to Gustafson.
