ADS Logistics, Area Transportation division provides truckload metals hauling equipment and expertise. Service is provided on aregional / short-haul basis (250 mile radius) throughout the Midwest, East and West Coast. ADS Logistics / Area Transportation has 48-state common and contract authority, plus various intrastate and Canadian authorities.
ADS Logistics / Area Transportation division is ISO - 9001:2000 Certified and has:
- an exceptional safety record - ranking higher than all major competitors ( < 1D.O.T. recordable accident per million miles annual average 1997-2003)
- hiring criteria higher than industry norm
- a high level of driver retention due to focus on short haul, on-going new equipment investments and specialized trailers, resulting in higher service levels
The 300+ unitcompany and independent contractor fleet is comprized of well-maintained (rigid maintenance program), late-model conventional and specialized equipment.
